Who we are

Beit Eliyahu Messianic Congregation — registered in Israel as בית אליהו קהילה משיחית (ע"ר), registered association number 580287217 — runs two things, and this policy covers both: our public website, beiteliyahu.org, and a private reports app for the congregation's finances.

Part 1 — Our public website

  • Messages and forms: If you contact us or send us your details through the site, we use them only to answer you. Giving them is voluntary, but without them we cannot reply.

  • Newsletter: If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send it to you. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

  • Cookies: The site's hosting platform uses cookies and similar tools to run the site and to measure how well it works.

  • Donations and other links: Donations are made on a page run by a partner organization, and its own privacy policy applies there. We can see the details you give on that page. Links to social media and other sites are governed by those sites' own policies.
     

Part 2 — Our private reports app

The app is not open to the public. Only people we invite can use it: the congregation's administrators, its elders and its funding partner.

  • Your name and email address, to invite you, send you a sign-in link and let you in.

  • Your password, if you choose to sign in with email and password.

  • What is needed for two-step sign-in, which every user must set up to keep accounts safe.

  • A record of who was given access, when it changed and who changed it.

The app uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your language. It has no advertising or tracking.

No law requires you to give us these details. Without an email address, however, we cannot give you access.
 

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, Google shares only your name, email address and Google account ID with us. We use them only to recognize you and sign you in, and keep them with your account. We do not sell them, share them for advertising, or use them to train artificial intelligence. We cannot see your email, files, calendar or contacts. Our use of information from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
 

For both

Who receives information? Service providers that host and run the website and the app, handle sign-in and send email, only so they can work. Inside the congregation, only the people who need it see it; in the app, each user sees only what their role allows. We do not sell personal information.

Outside Israel: Some of these providers store information outside Israel, including in the European Union.

How long we keep it? Only as long as we need it for the purposes above. For the app, that includes the congregation's accounts and audits, so some details are kept after your access ends.

Your rights: You may ask to see the information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or, where possible, deleted. App users may also ask us to end their access at any time. Contact us at the details above. You may also complain to Israel's Privacy Protection Authority.

Security: We protect information with standard safeguards; in the app these include required two-step sign-in and access limited by role. No system is completely secure.

Changes: If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with a new date.
